Oruvenalai-Malayalam Version of "Hai Mera Dil"

This song has been already released for Blogswara V2 as Hai Mera Dil. The song had awesome lyrics by Ajay and wonderful soulful singing by Swati Kanitkar. When I asked Sreeja Balaraj whether she could write Malayalam lyrics for it she came up with beautiful lines in no time. That was on November 5th. But then I was busy and got the time to try it just the day before yesterday. Well the result is here for all to hear! I think she has done a great job. It's not easy to write to a tune. You need good sense of music, rhythm and of course great writing skills and an immense amount of imagination. This is just an experiment and I hope you all would like it. We hope to work together to create more songs in the future.

dear pradip,
am so happy to write this... you sung this song beautifully..
It was very difficult to write the malayalam version of a hindi song with the same meaning, tune and feelings as the original one...that too when the original is having plenty of Urdu words.... there were three different tasks i faced while writing this poem..
first was word by word translation of the original to malayalam.
second was writing a new poem out of it..
and the third was arranging words according to the tune of the original one..
i hope i did my level best to give it maximum perfection...
i express my sincere thanks to my brother Mr. Sreeni nair, and my life partner Balaraj for helping me in translation of a few difficult urdu words..
thank you Pradip for singing this with excellence. i could tell u this is one of your best songs..
i still remember those days (August 2006) when i used to write silly poems and was sending to you almost everyday..:-)thanks a lot for your valuable suggestions and guidelines.

Hi pradip, You sung very well! and good Perfection. May I know what are the softwares you using for mixing?
Am afraid I'm ill-equipped to comment on the lyrics, but I can say that they seem to fit in perfectly with the tune and the output is very nice.

Hello Pradipji,
Have been meaning to write this comment since the day you posted this song but somehow got sidetracked being hooked to both the hindi and malayalam versions of this song. It is really beautiful and soul soothing. Both of you have done excellent jobs with it. I think the best thing was for you to have sung it solo not to take it away from the other person but you sound more at ease in the malayalam version and so soothing that one can go on and on listening to it. And sreeja has done a wonderful job of finding the right words for the tune it must be really difficult to translate and to retain the same tune and essence. Kudos to both of you and all the very best for your future endeavors.
I would like to thank each and evry one who has appreciated this version and would like to thank Sreeja specially for the wonderful lines which inspired my singing!
hi pradipji..remember me?? this is raksha... ur voice is like a bed of marsh mallows... so soft and so touching.. even tho i dint understand any bit of the malayalam, i was moved and touched deep within... i knew the nerve of the song.. i aspire to be like u... to be liked by everyone... just like everybody likes u and ur songs :)
