My First Music Blog !

Monday, April 24, 2006
Dear Friends,

I am posting a deadly song purely techno stuff that was created by my friend Rajesh and sung by me. This is only for promo purposes and is just a preview. Let me remind you that he has adapted this from a very popular arabic song but has given some new colours to it! This is to show what he can create and how best I can bend my bones……..!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

Great to see another celebrity blogger here. This is a cool song! You sound so different in this one. I mean, for good. :-)

Keep blogging and posting more songs!

Thanks jo. Wanted you to be my first guest and you have done just that... thanks!

And here am I as the second gatecrasher, with nostalgic boyhood memories of evenings in front of TV meri awaz suno!

Warm welcome Mr. Pradip!!! Great to see celebrities blogging..

Heyyy...
Welcome to the world of virtual liberty!

Was that really you?
And this halo? Comeon... u look like my grandfather on the wall.Gulp... U r still around, arent u?

hi pradeep, welcome to the world of blogs.

nice song!
thanks.

expecting more!

great song pradip, i haven't stopped it ever since started listening to it, great going, great to a clebrity

interesting work, Mr Pradeep.Great singing! As always! Remember watching u sing on TV when I was 11 years old!

Is this going to be an album that you are making? The ya ali part of the song sounds very similar to music dir Pritam's work for hindi movie gangster, which itself is a direct rip off of a middle east band track called "ya ghali". Dont you think the similarity might be a matter of concern!

Devaragamji,
Thank you.

Umechi....I was thinking of publishing the old dancing couple's photo along with my photo! Wouldn't that look nice? A threesome? Shall I....???????????
Am still around alive and kicking!

Kumar thank u. you can expect more songs here.

Swapna, thanks for the nice words of encouragement. I will always need them.

Harish, that was for a jwellery ad! Can u believe it? So it's a big relief that this is not going to come out in any album.
Well I will pass on those comments about pritam, gangster and Middle east part to Rajesh who composed the song.
As for me I think since most Arabic songs have same path of swara sanchara and very little raga applications, most of them sound the same. But their singers are terrific! You will have to be born again as an arab to sing like them! For me all sound similar. They have very little variety compared to Western or our music. Even western music has limited permutations in raga compared to indian music.

Welcome to the magical world of[Audio]Blogging!!
Nice to hear Ya ghali's remix with malayalam words...you sound quite different in this..good job. I couldnt believe its a Jingle, hope they sold more gold.

Expecting more songs in future...esp the ones u sang for MAS, that'd be like taking a trip down the memory lane...pls do consider.

Hi,
As pointed out, the "arabic taste" in the song was too obvious to ignore! But then, why should what sound good not be copied? ( with acknowlegement, though! )
madhavan kutty

Oh dear! What I meant was, the photograph, with all that halo and faded look resembled an old pic.
The dancer duo? They are the jagadahpitharau...the parents of the Universe...Kaliyaakkyaa narakathil povum.haha

Hi Pradip,

Heres the Original of Ya ghali, the original track of the song that you have used partly in your jingle.
